The Planning Commission hears testimony from the public regarding development actions and gives a recommendation to City Council. The Commission reviews zone changes, plats, vacations and revisions to the Zoning Ordinance.
It shall have the powers necessary to carry out its functions in accordance with the City Code and the State Statutes related to planning, zoning, and land subdivision. Any party aggrieved by a recommendation or decision of the Planning Commission may appeal to the City Council.
